Cashew Cashew Handmade was then created and I began by doing small pop-up boutiques and larger fund raisers such as for the San Diego Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Women’s Breast Cancer Research Center. The personal interaction was inspiring and I loved it, albeit a lot of hard work. I’ve sold my paintings in several wine tasting bars in Solvang and Los Olivos and was featured in the Mirabelle Inn in Solvang for many years before new ownership took over with a new design plan.

About a year ago my husband hurt his back lugging around all my tables and displays and so began this latest journey of displaying and selling in artisan shops. I miss the people, the conversation, but I am happily still able to create and sell and create some more.
